Refuge Terre Rouge

In the heart of the Neuvache valley (in the commune of Valmeinier), in the Mont Thabor conservation area, amidst mountain pastures and mineral rock faces, you'll find Refuge de Terre Rouge. A private mountain refuge with accommodation for 40 guests in 6 dormitories sleeping 4 to 8 people, with three showers, three washbasins and four toilets (including one toilet for people with reduced mobility). The refuge enjoys wonderful views over the valley and its unspoilt natural surroundings. This is an ideal stopover or base for nature lovers, hikers, trekkers, snow-shoe walkers and skiers. We serve exceptional dishes prepared with local produce and endeavour to cater for all your dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.).
