Situated in the hamlet of chalets de Laval at an altitude of 2,030 m, the chalet-style community refuge has been completely refurbished to provide a warm and friendly, family atmosphere. With accommodation for up to 38 guests divided into six dormitories on the first floor and one on the ground floor, there is a dining room with a beautiful "Tulikiwi" stove, bathroom facilities with hot showers, and a drying room powered by the refuge's pico-central system for drying your clothes and ski boots in winter and summer alike.
The refuge is the perfect base for all your excursions into the beautiful Clarée valley, and after a hard day of activity there's nothing like a little comfort!!!!! A place you can recharge your batteries, serving simple, hearty dishes and delicious homemade desserts.

Access
Winter: From the car park in Névache Ville Haute, along the snow-covered road (3 hrs)
Summer: Before 8 am, by car via the road to the car park at Laval. The refuge is 200 metres down the road, nestling behind the rocks.
Otherwise, after 9 am, take the shuttle bus to the car park in Laval, which is at the end of the road.

Tourist tax: €0.66 per person - 18 years and over
This price includes an evening meal, overnight stay, breakfast, and access to showers.
We can also provide picnics on request for €12 per person. Please let us know when you book via the website or by phoning the refuge.
We offer a simple, high-quality cuisine, predominantly prepared with organic and local produce.
Additional information
Please bring a sleeping bag liner, pillow case and toiletries.
