The LEVI-MOLINARI refuge is located in the upper Susa Valley, around 80 km from Turin, in the commune of Exilles at an altitude of 1,849 m.
It lies in the Galambra range, home to the last glaciers of the Susa Valley, on the edge of a larch forest, in the heart of a FULLY PROTECTED RESERVE, a GEO-SITE OF REGIONAL INTEREST, home to a large number of species of wildlife (ibex, deer, chamois, wolves, bearded vultures, eagles, etc.), which can often be spotted on your excursions.
It is one of the largest bouldering sites in Piedmont, and around thirty rock-climbing routes have been developed for families and climbing schools (with the possibility of organising and accompanying hikes or day trips with a nature trail guide who speaks Italian, French, English and German).
Since 2010 the Levi-Molinari refuge has held the YES! QUALITY LABEL awarded by the Turin Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, and since 2013 it has held the Q - "ITALIAN HOSPITALITY" LABEL.
Access
By road:
From the Fréjus tunnel or from Montgenèvre: from the main road 24, after passing through the villages of Oulx and Salbertrand, follow the road as it winds up and, at the end, turn left towards Eclause - Grange della Valle.
At the fork in the road, take the tarmac road for 8 kms leading to Grange della Valle.
From Grange della Valle, it's a fifteen-minute walk to the refuge.
From the Mont Cenis pass or from Turin :
Take the S.S. 24, direction Bardonecchia / Fréjus, after the village of Exilles take the fork on the right for Eclause - Grange della Valle.
At the fork in the road, take the tarmac road for 8 kms leading to Grange della Valle.
From Grange della Valle, it's a fifteen-minute walk to the refuge.
The refuge can also be reached by coach with a maximum capacity of 28 seats (maximum length 7.80 m).
By train:
The nearest station to the refuge is Salbertrand. From the station it is possible to reach the refuge on foot, after a 2 hr 30 min hike, or you can book a Sherpa taxi.

Half Board includes an evening meal, overnight stay, and breakfast. Drinks and other items not included.
Please bring your own sleeping bag liner. Sheets are available for hire: 6.00 euros.
