From the refuge, follow the track up to Laramon (the combe to the right of the summer path, climbing alongside the stream that flows out of Lac Laramon). At the lake, bear left off the rocky ridge overlooking the lakes to enter Vallon des Gardioles. Climb up to the slopes below the summit. The climb can vary depending on the conditions. The descent is along the same route.
