Valmeinier 1500 to Refuge des Marches via the forested slopes of Le Prec (8 km)
Passing under the EDF cable lines, follow the Bissorte path.
The route crosses over the Bissorte stream, passes through Cartillères and takes you over to the right bank of the Bissorte dam.
Cross the dam. Continue along the left bank to the far side of the lake and bear right onto the path leading to Refuge des Marches.
At Pont de la Bergerie continue along the same side of the stream for 200 metres and then cross over a small wooden bridge to reach the refuge.
