Leaving the refuge, head towards Lac des Béraudes, skirting around the right bank of the lake to the foot of the final slope of Col des Béraudes. From here, head north towards Pointe des Cerces until you reach a pass at an altitude of 2,728 m. From this pass, join Laval via Vallon des Sagnes Froides. This will take you all the way round this massif.
