Col de la Gran Bagna (2,990 m)

From the refuge (2,502 m), head down to Col de la Vallée Etroite (2,434 m), then up to Col de Fontaine Froide (2,509 m). Skirt around the rocky spur to the left and then climb up the N-facing combe to Col de la Gran Bagna (2,990 m, +600 m). This is a pleasant, classic route, with a fine N-W facing slope that remains powdery for a long time.
