From Refuge du Chardonnet
This is the most rugged area in the Cerces Massif, far from the road and the traffic alongside the Guisane.
Many of the cliffs are easy to reach from Refuge du Chardonnet.
Three main peaks bring together around twenty innovative climbing routes and an additional fifteen “terrain d’aventure” routes for more experienced climbers where your own equipment is required.
Heights range from 100 to 350 metres with 5 to 8a ratings.
There is also a vast bouldering area and a small rock-climbing school.
