The "vallon" of Vallon is a long, somewhat stark narrow valley that allows you to get from the Ricou area to Névache without having to go along the road. You can join it any level. Later in the season, the lower section may be cleared of snow. The route ends at the Haute Vallée route, 500 m before reaching Névache.
