Col du Galibier is a road pass situated at an altitude of 2,642 m between the departments of Savoie to the north and Hautes-Alpes to the south.
It links St-Michel-de-Maurienne (Savoie) and Briançon (Hautes-Alpes) via Col du Télégraphe and Col du Lautaret.
You can climb it either from Col du Lautaret (8.5 km with an average gradient of 6.88%) or from Valloire (18 km with an average gradient of 5.51%).

- Water is precious! The showers are only open when the rain falls from the sky!
