Ascent:
From Granges de la Vallée Etroite (1,760 m), follow the path to Pont de la Fonderie (1,897 m), where you leave the Mont Thabor route to the west and climb up the slopes of Vallon de Tavernette. At the rain gauge (2,200 m), head N-W towards Baume. At the foot of Baume (2,350 m), head W/SW up to Lac du Peyron (2,453 m). Go around the large rocky outcrop to the left to reach Col des Méandes (2,727 m).
Descent: Along Chemin du Thabor.
From Col des Meandes (2,727 m), descend the undulating slopes of Vallon du Diner to reach Mine de Blanchet (2,200 m), Pont de la Fonderie (1,787 m) and return to Granges de la Vallée Etroite.
